FOUST

The Foundational Stance

Foundational ontologies are essential for tackling interoperability problems of systems and software. However, the comparison of different foundational ontologies is itself an interoperability problem.

The FOUST project aims at collecting and comparing foundational ontologies and furthermore to publish authorised copies of formal versions of the ontologies in a common, curated digital library, which will be a repository hosted at ontohub.org.

The 3rd workshop on foundational ontologies, FOUST III, will be held at JOWO 2019, at the Medical University of Graz, between September 23-25.

The Call for Papers for FOUST III can be found here.
